Meet The Teacher- Mercedes Kartchner
Hi — I’m Mercedes Kartchner, a professional musician and teacher who loves helping tweens discover music through play, creativity, and clear skill-building. I’m in my second year teaching Presto, our small-group piano class for ages 7–12, where students learn musicianship, ensemble skills, and complete a two‑year program that ends with an original recorded song.
My approach
